Aryna Sabalenka

Sabalenka is a Belarussian born in Minsk. She was the daughter of Sergey (d. 2019) was an athlete in ice hockey. Aryna Sabalenka was birthed in Minsk 5 May 1998. Aryna is the holder of twelve WTA Singles titles, one of which was crowned Grand Slam at the Australian Open 2023. She is also an excellent doubles player. She's won two other Majors in this specialty including the US Open 2019 and the Australian Open 2021 won both together with Elise Mertens. Also, she achieved her Sunshine Double in 2019, taking the WTA 1000 at Indian Wells, Miami and the Australian Open alongside Elise Mertens. Four women's teams had achieved this achievement. There were only four couples who achieved this feat when playing women's doubles. After winning the Melbourne doubles event in February of 2021 and gaining the doubles title, she managed climb the ranks and take over the top spot for this particular area. Her coach was the former Russian tennis player Dmitry Tursunov from 2018 until the end of the 2019 season, and in part at the beginning of 2020. Dieter Kindlmann was her coach from August through September 2020. She is being trained by her fellow hero Antonio Dubrov since the end of 2020. Serena Williams & Maria Sharapova were her models.
